The board of intermediate and secondary education Karachi came into established 1973 and seprate from Sindh board in 1974. Karachi board is the prominent board of the Sindh its delivered the best education in all over the Karachi and also its districts.the ministry of education pass the board of intermediate and secondary education in 1974 . Sind have five board which as following :

1. Karachi Board
2. Sukkur Boad
3. Hyderabad Board
4. Larkana Board
5. Aga khan Board
karachi board have has the different departments and staff . Karachi board of intermediate education .the board do work and conduct under the education department . first level Matric (SSC) part 1 and part 2 and second level Intermediate (HSSC) part 1 and part 2.
